about me

1975, Milan.

I have always been a photographer. From the tender age of 16, I was often caught toying around with my father’s optical bench and exploring through his enchanting sets of extraordinary Bowens equipment.
I am deeply enamored of the beauty of light, its power to reveal and preserve the richness of a moment that is gone forever and the way it lets you in on a little secret so irresistibly subtle. But most of all, I love falling in love with the emotion captured in that fleeting moment, in comfort or perhaps not always, in that space beckoning between us.
This incandescent passion has fueled several years of my work in photography to reconstruct from my viewpoint in all of its magnificent versatility, in order to narrate accurately by manipulating different moods and tones across extreme spectrums ranging from the cool and aggressive to the warm and romantic.
